The actual clearance of the bearing at work is related to the bearing load, speed, lubrication, temperature rise, vibration, design structure and surface roughness of the platform.
Selection must be based on specific circumstances. The amount of expansion of the ferrule caused by the interference fit or the clearance after shrinkage due to the interference fit when the bearing is mounted on the shaft or the casing is referred to as
the " installation clearance " . The clearance after adding or subtracting the dimensional variation caused by the internal temperature difference of the bearing on the installation clearance is called " effective clearance " . The clearance when the bearing is
mounted on the machine under a certain load rotation, that is, the effective clearance plus the elastic deformation caused by the bearing load is called the " working clearance " .
According to the experience, the optimum working clearance of the ball bearing is close to zero, and the roller bearing should have a small amount of working clearance. Since the working clearance is closely related to the bearing life, temperature rise,
vibration and noise, the control of the internal clearance of the bearing is very important !
