What are the common failure modes of rolling bearings
release time:2018/5/17 14:53:11
1.In the case of poor lubrication, unreliable sealing and dusty, the rolling element or the ferrule raceway is prone to abrasive wear, hot gluing wear occurs at high speed, and the bearing overheating will also cause the rolling body to temper.
2.Plastic deformation Under the action of excessive static load or impact load, the ferrule raceway or rolling element may be plastically deformed, pits appear in the raceway or the rolling elements are crushed, which reduces the running precision and generates vibration and noise. Causes the bearing to not work properly.
3.Fatigue pitting rolling element and ferrule raceway under the contact stress of pulsating cycle, when the stress value or the number of stress cycles exceeds a certain value, contact fatigue pitting will occur on the contact surface. Pitting causes the bearing to generate vibration and noise during operation, the rotation accuracy is lowered and the operating temperature is increased, so that the bearing loses its normal working ability. Contact fatigue pitting is the most important form of failure of rolling bearings.
